Open in FamilySearch should be new window

Beta Feedback: When you are in the Compare with FamilySearch feature, and choose to open a record in FamilySearch, by default, it should open in a new tab. It is easy to start going down rabbit holes in the FamilySearch page and then takes a long time to backtrack to RootsFinder.

And I noted that sometimes I got the popup telling me I was going to go to FamilySearch and sometimes I did not. I don’t recall clicking “got it” (which maybe means “don’t show again”?) but I might have. Either way, clicking the record link or the link in the popup should default to taking me to a new tab.

Good point! I’ve made the external links for records and people open in a new tab. But I’m not sure about the popup. Can you please tell me which popup you’re referring to?
