I have been an avid hobby genealogist for over 20 years and spend 4+ hours a day at it. While most of my family is known, I am searching for my Grandfathers parents and beyond. He was born Karl Kitson 16 Jan 1901 in Stayner, Ontario, Canada. He was adopted by John and Mary Jane (Sykes) Laphan from Uxbridge, Ontario.
DNA has pointed me to the Pennsylvania settlers for one parent and the other is still unknown.
