Hi, I’m Ingrid, I’m a DNA researcher.

I took over family research in 1981 from my mother and paternal grandfather.

Mom started her genealogical journey in the 1960’s and would have me nap under the microfilm readers at the Washington National Archives while she did her research!

Grandpa started his research in the 1920’s and traveled to Ireland to research and talk with living family in the 1950’s up through the 1980’s!

I inherited a LOT of amazing work.

My goal is to push back through the generations and DNA confirm as many connections as I can so that the grandchildren of my grandchildren will be able to type in their name and see every ancestor and relative they are biologically related to 600 years before they were born!

RootsFinder is helping me to kick down SO many brick walls and connect with an enormous amount of cousins I never would have known were kin to me.
