OOPS-accidentally imported wrong match list

I accidentally imported a gedmatch match list to an ancestry profile. Any way to batch remove those ? I am guessing not but a file mismatch error warning would be nice here to prevent this error before a proflle is messed up. easy to spot the records since the relationship field is blank.

Hmm, I’m really surprised that worked. I’ll work on a warning for the future,. In the meantime, here’s what I would do:

  1. Create a new ancestry profile
  2. Import your ancestry data to the new profile. The work you’ve done matching the ancestry kits should be retained in the new profile.
  3. Once you’ve verified that your matches have been retained, delete the old profile.
