Nick Names or Alas section

I tried searching to see if this was already discussed/explained but I was not able to locate anything that answered my question. Thus reaching out to see what I might be missing.

Is there a way to add a nick name or alas name, for example their given name is Nicholas but they went by Nick or Andrew but goes by Andy?

Right now I am typing the first name(s) as “Nicholas (Nick) Ray”. I would rather type Nicholas Ray and have another location/field that denotes he went by Nick…is that a current option that I just haven’t located as of yet?

You can click on the “+” button near the top of the timeline, then “Add event/fact”. Select “Name” under “Other events / facts”. Then select “Next”, and click on the “Name” drop-down to choose the type of name you want to add.
